Sunbreak

Working with the University of Washington and Seattle Housing Authority, Bellwether is developing Sunbreak tower. This mixed-income high-rise will provide affordable rental housing for workers and families near the UW campus and rapid transit.

Bellwether Housing is planning to develop this site in the University District neighborhood on the corner of NE 42nd Street and Roosevelt Way NE. The new 16-story building will provide apartments for individuals and families with lower incomes, including those with disabilities. There will be studio units, 1-bedroom units and 2- and 3- bedroom units for larger families.
Over half of the apartments will be affordable for individuals and families earning between $47,950 for one person, to $82,200 for a family of four. The balance will be affordable for people earning up to 100% of the area median income.
