About
Thunderbird Nest
In partnership with Chief Seattle Club and North Seattle College, Bellwether Housing is developing Thunderbird Nest. This mixed-use building will provide affordable rental housing for individuals and families, and a ground floor education space operated by North Seattle College near the Northgate station.
The site is located along College Way N at the intersection of N 95th Avenue adjacent to the Licton Springs P-Patch Community Garden.
The building provides apartments for individuals and families with lower incomes, including those with disabilities. Types of homes include studios and 1-bedroom units, and 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom units for larger families.
The units are affordable to individuals and families earning between 30 - 60% of the area median income for King County.
