We strongly encourage all residents sign up for renter’s insurance. Renter’s insurance protects your family, belongings, and you when the unexpected happens. Renter’s insurance costs around $10-$20 a month. It typically covers:

• Vandalism

• Fire Damage

• Water Damage

• Bodily Injury Liability

• Medical Expenses

• Additional Living Expenses

Bellwether Housing has insurance that protects your apartment building, but we are not responsible for damages inside your apartment or to your belongings due to theft, fire, or flood.
